Scholarship Program
Are you a college student looking to pursue a career in the dairy industry? We want to help.
Every year the cooperative awards five $1,000 scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing careers in the dairy industry.
MDVA will also offer one $1,000 scholarship to a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree or Ph.D. in dairy science.
Applications are due February 23.
Scholarship Details
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be one of the following:
- Child or grandchild of an active Maryland & Virginia member
- Employee of an active Maryland & Virginia member
- Child of an MDVA employee

Congratulations 2023 Scholarship Winners!
Maryland & Virginia is pleased to announce the nine deserving students selected as this year’s scholarship winners.
A total of $7,500 was awarded to help offset college expenses for the 2022-2023 academic school year.
The recipients were selected based on their responses to essay questions, financial need, leadership and career aspirations.
